Designed by DMG Architecture, Geographe responds to its surroundings through an architectural language that is both refined and distinctly coastal.
The curved form of the façade reflects the movement of a wave, while brass, timber and finely crafted brickwork create a warm and tactile material palette. Light, neutral tones reference the soft colours of Dunsborough Beach, while integrated greenery brings another layer of connection to the natural environment.
The architecture responds to its parkside setting through considered landscaping and a strong relationship between the built form, streetscape and surrounding landscape.

The residences at Geographe combine natural materials, considered proportions and a palette designed to complement their coastal setting.
Open-plan living and dining areas connect with generous balconies through large sliding doors and full-height windows, bringing natural light into the interiors and strengthening the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Kitchens feature stone surfaces, warm timber joinery and integrated appliances, while reeded joinery and sculptural stone elements introduce texture and detail. Bedrooms continue the understated material palette with warm timber, soft finishes and expansive windows.

Landscape and architecture work together at Geographe, with greenery integrated throughout the project to soften the built form and strengthen its relationship with the surrounding environment.
The coastal setting is reflected in the materiality and architectural forms, while balconies and expansive windows create opportunities to connect with views towards Geographe Bay, surrounding parkland and the treetops beyond.
At ground level, a dedicated retail space forms part of the development, contributing to the relationship between the project and its local setting.

Geographe occupies a coastal position on Geographe Bay Road in Dunsborough, with the bay and surrounding parkland forming an immediate part of its setting.
Dunsborough’s town centre, cafés, restaurants and everyday amenities are close by, while the wider South West offers beaches, walking trails, wineries and natural landscapes to explore.
The location brings together the convenience of an established coastal town with the natural beauty and slower rhythm of the South West.
